1989

Sergiv Voitovich (LAW 1989-1994) has published International Investment Law in the Arbitration Process (in English, Yurydvchnyi Svit, 268 pages). The book reveals the structure of international investment law, its interaction with other rules applied in the resolution of international investment disputes. The volumewill be of interest for practicing lawyers and scholars specialising in international investment law, as well as research students and students studying international law.

1994

Paolo L. Bernardini (HEC, 1990- 1994), has been appointed chair of the Department of Human Sciences, Innovation and Territory (DiSUIT) at the University of Insubria, Como-Varese, where he is full professor of early modern European history since December 2006. Paolo founded DiSUIT, the University of Insubria’s seventh department, and the first entirely devoted to Human Sciences. The Department has 35 members, is in charge of 5 courses and 2,000 students, and has 5 active research centres, including a major centre in Global and Local History

Nina Nordström (LAW 1994-2002) was appointed Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Finland to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg on 1 July.
