Max Weber lectureOn 17 April Archong Fung, professor at Harvard Kennedy School, will give a lecture on ‘Viral engagement: fast, cheap and broad, but good for democracy?’

The lecture, organised by the Max Weber Programme for Postdoctoral Studies, will reflect on high profile online campaigns in 2011 and 2012.

Fung will examine cases such as the shooting of teenager Trayvon Martin in Florida, which gained worldwide attention in 2012, to determine commonality between the examples and the impact they have on democracy.
