Bodies across borders

The “Bodies Across Borders” (BABE) research project will launch with a workshop on 15 November.
The project intends to study intercultural connections in contemporary Europe and aims to understand new forms of European identity as they develop in an increasingly diasporic world.
The research team will present the first developments from the project, which officially started on 1 June 2013. Speakers at the event include Luisa Passerini, Federico Romero and Anna Triandafyllidou.
Directed by Luisa Passerini, BABE is funded by a European Research Council Advanced Grant. The project is based at the Department of History and Civilization.
