Call for papers: 2nd EUI alumni conference in economics
The Department of Economics has issued a call for papers ahead of their 2nd Alumni Conference to be held at the Badia on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 September.
The conference is open to all economists who have been affiliated with the EUI in the past and it is hoped the programme will represent as many cohorts (including current researchers) as possible. However, papers will be primarily selected on their academic merit.
Currently there are three sessions planned in the following fields:
Applied Microeconomics:
Organized by Lapo Filistrucchi (University of Florence and Tilburg University), Stefano Gagliarducci (University of Rome Tor Vergata), and Liliane Giardino-Karlinger (LUISS University)
Microeconomic theory:
Organized by Mark Le Quement (University of Bonn) and Sarah Auster (European University Institute)
Macroeconomics:
Organized by Gernot Müller (University of Bonn) and Kristoffer Nimark (CREI and Universitat Pompeu Fabra)
The local organizers are Piero Gottardi and Andrea Ichino.
To submit a paper please email a copy of your work to [email protected] before 15 June 2014 stating which years you were at the EUI, your role while here, and the session in which you would like to participate.
Please note participants will have to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
