Changes to the EUI estate
This summer has seen some changes to the EUI estate with various departments and services moving to new homes and extra buildings being added to the campus.
At the beginning of August the entire Administration Service moved to Villa Salviati. The Villa, already home to the Historical Archives of the European Union, now hosts the office of the Secretary General as well as Communications Service, Financial Services, Personnel Services, Real Estate and Facilities Services.
There has also been the addition of Villa Paola to the campus, located next to the Badia’s parking spaces. Work to refurbish the Villa has recently finished giving the EUI an extra 41 workspaces and a meeting room, which will be used by the Robert Schuman Centre, who have also moved into Villa La Fonte with the Max Weber Fellows moving into the Badia offices vacated by the Administration Services.
