CONTENTION project to reconvene

The EUI will host a meeting of the ‘CONTENTION’ (CONtrol of DeTENTION) project on the 11^th and 12^th of December to explore policy regarding migrants detained upon arrival in Europe. The project, which is co-funded by the European Union in the framework of the European Return Fund, took place at the EUI on the 3rd and 4th of October. Delegates will this  week reconvene for its final conference this week to present their finding, which will be discussed by three panels made up of judges, academics and EU representatives.
