Cristina Blanco made Santander Senior Fellow at the University of Oxford

Dr. Cristina Blanco Sío-López has received a prestigious fellowship from the University of Oxford.

EUI alum Dr. Cristina Blanco Sío-López (HEC, 2008;  Sørensen Fellow, 2016) is very honoured to communicate her selection as Santander Senior Fellow in Iberian and European Studies at the European Studies Centre, based at St. Antony’s College of the University of Oxford.

Cristina currently coordinates a research project on the history of the ‘EU’s Free Movement of Persons from European to Global Governance‘, for which she was also awarded with the Antonian Fund Research Grant by St. Antony’s College at Oxford.

Furthermore, she was selected as Full Member and 2017 Laureate of the Global Young Academy (GYA), following the five-year award by the German National Academy of Sciences ‘Leopoldina’ to represent Spain and the field of History.
