A research assistant at the Max Weber Programme for Postdoctoral Studies has represented the EUI’s Academic Careers Observatory (ACO) at the Researcher Careers and Mobility Conference in Dublin.
Alanna O’Malley attended the conference, which was organised as part of the Irish presidency of the EU, on 14 and 15 May. She took part in the workshop on mobility, which discussed the concept of ‘virtual mobility’ and moving between employment sectors. The work of the ACO and the Max Weber Programme were also discussed.
Additionally, O’Malley was one of 15 winners of a travel bursary competition to attend the conference.
