EUDO logoOn 22 and 23 November the European Union Democracy Observatory (EUDO), part of the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (RSCAS), will hosts a conference on ‘The euro crisis and the state of European democracy’.

The first day of the annual Dissemination Conference will focus on the handling of the euro crisis, with panellists discussing national and European institutions, constitutional issues and policy. On day two delegates will turn their attention to European democracy, looking at the challenges of the current crisis and EU response mechanism.

The conference will be opened by Stefano Bartolini, director of the RSCAS, and Alexander H Trechsel, director of the EUDO. Panels include representatives from the European Central Bank, the London School of Economics and the University of Bern.
