EUI 'family' at the IMF
In March EUI Life reported on the community of EUI alumni on staff at the European Central Bank. There is also a sizable group of alumni who are working at the International Monetary Fund.
Thanks to alumna Lusine Lusinyan, we are happy to provide a round-up of EUI alumni working around the world for the IMF.

Annalisa Fedelino (ECO 1990-1996) joined the IMF in November 1994. She is currently an Advisor in the Office of Budget and Planning, following assignments in area departments, and, more recently, in the Fiscal Affairs Department.
Valeria Fichera (ECO 1990-1998) arrived at the IMF in May 1995 and is currently Resident Representative in Senegal (Western I Division of the African Department).
Stefania Fabrizio (ECO 1990-1995), who joined the IMF in September 1995, is Deputy Division Chief of the Expenditure Policy Division of the Fiscal Affairs Department.
Luisa Zanforlin (ECO 1992-1996), arrived at the IMF in October 1995 and works as a Senior Economist in the Western Hemisphere Division of the IMF Institute for Capacity Development.
Bogdan Lissovolik (ECO 1989-1995) arrived at the IMF in October 1996 and is currently the IMF Resident Representative for Serbia (European Department).
Lusine Lusinyan (ECO 2000-2005) joined the IMF in October 2003 and is a Senior Economist in the Canada team of the Western Hemisphere Department.
Bergljot Bjornson Barkbu (ECO 2000-2005) joined the IMF in October 2004 and works as a Senior Economist at the Italy team of the European Department.
Kristina Kostial (ECO 1991-1995) joined the IMF in June 2005 and is currently an Assistant Director in the Front Office of the Middle East and Central Asia Department.
Andre Meier (ECO 2001-2006) has been with the IMF since 2005 and is currently its Resident Representative in Hong Kong SAR.
Rabah Arezki (ECO 2002-2006) joined the IMF in October 2006 and currently works as a Senior Economist for the Immediate Office of the Research Department.
Fabian Bornhorst (ECO 2000-2004) joined the IMF in 2006 and currently works as Senior Economist in the Euro Area team in the European Department.
Joana Pereira (ECO 2004-2009) joined the IMF in September 2009 and is currently Fiscal Economist for Brazil at the Fiscal Affairs Department.
Jarkko Turunen (ECO 1997-2002) joined the IMF in July 2009 and works as Senior Economist in the North American division of the Western Hemisphere Department.
Bertrand Gruss (ECO 2006-2010) joined the IMF in September 2010 and works as an Economist for the Poland-Baltics Unit of the European Department.
