EUI roundtable on open access
As part of the eighth International Open Access Week (20-26 October 2014), the EUI Library has planned a half-day roundtable on 23 October entitled ‘Young Scholars between Open Access and Traditional Publishing’.
Gary Hall, Professor of Media and Performing Arts; Director of the Centre for Disruptive Media at Coventry University; Co-founder / Co-director of Open Humanities Press will give a presentation on ‘ Rebel OA: or How (Not) to Publish in the Era of Open Access, Open Data and Open Source’. Marc Van den Berg, Director of Library and IT Services at Tilburg University will speak on ‘The Dutch road to open access: fool’s gold?’
In addition, EUI Library Deputy Director Peter Kennealy, EUI Repository Manager Lotta Svantesson, and Library Information specialist (ECO) Thomas Bourke will present open access and open data at the EUI.
