In the session, Nadia Murad Basee Taha, a 21 year-old woman of Yazidi origins, will be present to discuss her global mission to denounce the genocide and crimes against humanity committed against the Yazidi people. Herself an escaped victim, she is determined to raise awareness in the world community of the abuses suffered by her people, with a special appeal to young Muslims.
The event, which is open to the public, will take place from 14.00-16.00 in the Aula Magna, Edificio U6, Piazza dell’Ateneo Nuovo 1, Milano. English, Italian and Arabic translators will translate the event.
