Romania joins the EUI Council

romanian_flag_by_SummerWine6Romania will, for the first time, participate in the EUI High Council meeting on 6 June, increasing the institution’s number of member states from 20 to 21, pushing the EUI towards the goal of the reaching 28 members. Having ratified the EUI Convention in the recent past, international procedures for the formal accession of Romania to the Institute were concluded in March this year. This new addition represents an opportunity to welcome new researchers, academics and ideas from Romania for the benefit of our pan-European institute.
